Acid Challenge on Push-Out Bond Strength of Three Different Tricalcium Silicate Cements: An In-vitro Study

نویسندگان

چکیده

Aim: To evaluate the impact of environmental pH on intra-radicular dentin push-out bond strengths MTA, MTA HP, and Biodentine.
Materials Methodology: Freshly extracted human mandibular single-rooted premolars or maxillary anterior incisors that were either intact contained only small carious lesions selected.120 mid root dentins is horizontally divided into 1.0 mm thick slices 3 BIODENTINE groups. The compressive load applied at a speed 0.5 mm/min by exerting downward pressure outer surface using 1.00 diameter cylindrical stainless-steel plunger. Maximum to was reported in newtons time dislodgement converted megapascals. 1-way analysis variance test used compare strength groups with same storage (4 34 days), followed pair-wise comparison Tukey post hoc test. Student's t-test 3-group means. At P = .005, degree significance set. Thus clinical importance present study states considering several factors like microhardness, composition products, particle sizes plays critical role selection end filling material.
Results: There significant difference between (P .001) after 4 days PBS Acid condition, where Bio dentine had significantly highest strength.
Conclusion: BIODENTINE, materials interface increases over 30 solution 7.4, an initial acid challenge acetic 5.4, which decreases strength.

Push-out bond strength of different endodontic obturation material at three different sites - In-vitro study

BACKGROUND The key to success of any root canal therapy is adequate obturation of the prepared root canal space. Root canal sealers are not dimensionally stable and might dissolve partially over a period of time. The objective of this in vitro study is to evaluate the push-out bond strength to intraradicular dentin of two endodontic obturation materials. MATERIAL AND METHODS Forty extracted s...

The effect of smear layer on the push-out bond strength of root canal calcium silicate cements.

INTRODUCTION The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of smear layer removal on the push-out bond strength between radicular dentin and three calcium silicate cements (CSC) in comparison with gutta percha and sealer. METHODS Eighty human anterior extracted teeth were decoronated, cleaned and shaped to size 50/0.05 apically and randomly divided into 2 major groups: (A) smear layer pres...
